Newquay Skate Guide Street
skating in Newquay in the summer is a bit of a pain in the arse, the
streets are packed full of tourists and you will be lucky to get 2 meters
down the road before a family of 6 step out in front of you! Your best
bet is to head out to the local skatepark Wooden Waves
World
bmx champ Matt Hoffman opened the park, and it has since been visited
by some of the Uks top skaters. Its the biggest outdoor ramp park in
Cornwall and the best place to skate in Newquay.

If your more of a spectator than a skater make sure you get yourself
over to The Ripcurl Boardmasters Championships on Fistral Beach from
Mon 2nd-Sun 8th August. The Garnier Fructis Extreme Vert Comp is running
with skate giants Vans and is going to be showcasing some of the best
skaters around inc Pete King, Renton Millar and Jocke Olsson. They will
