28 Waves is penthouse apartment in a new development just a stone’s throw from the beach. There is an allocated parking space and access to the fourth floor apartment is via stairs or lift. The accommodation consists of an open-plan living area with a stylish sloping ceiling giving a bright and open feel to the apartment plus a separate bedroom and bathroom.
For younger guests, a high chair and cot are available free of charge – please request when booking.
Watergate Bay offers everything that you need for an amazing beachside experience. An array of extreme sports, including surfing, mountain boarding, kitesurfing, traction-kiting and wave-skiing are just some of the adrenaline-fuelled activities available from The Extreme Sports Academy, located right on the beach. The Jamie Oliver inspired Fifteen restaurant sits above the Academy and has been rated as one of the ‘Top Five Beachside Restaurants in the World’.
The shops restaurants and bars of Newquay are within a short drive as is the legendary surfing beach, Fistral, offering some of the finest surfing conditions in the world.
During May, the annual ‘Run To The Sun’, festival takes places attracting Volkswagen Bug and Bus enthusiast from all over the UK, whilst August sees some of the worlds‘ best surfers descend on Newquay for the ‘Newquay Boardmasters Festival’. As well as being a fantastic surfing spectacular, there is also a skate competition, and with live music throughout the weekend, the event is sure to entertain all of the family.
