What type of music do you play? Chart, dance, party. Pretty much anything goes

When did you become interested in DJ'ing How did you get started? I’ve always had music in my ears from when I was a kid. I would rarely be without my walkman. I became interested in Djing at Newquay Youth Center at their discos. One of my friends was the DJ and I just asked if I could have a go.

How did you get started? Somebody knew I was Djing at the youth center and wondered why I didn’t do it for a job, So I was put in touch with John London and started doing mobiles for him. I then started doing the 1st hour in Berties Club and it went on from there.

What do you love most about your job? The thrill of playing great music and joining in the fun of a night. I like to make people have fun and there is something really rewarding when a customer is smiling or says thanks at the end of a night.

Why Newquay? I was born and bred in the town. I have never had the desire to leave and find anything more. I am content to live in this beautiful area of the country and I love the locals!

What music do you like and what is on your Cd player This week? I don’t generally listen to CDs at home. Usually put B4 on sky or the radio. I think that there is a perfect style of music for every moment of each day. I did however grow up listening to heavy rock, like Iron Maiden, Dio and Slayer
