Happy Mondays is one of The Beach clubs busiest nights, the club opens its doors at 9.30 and is pretty much full from 10.30 onwards. Packed full of students from the campsites and backpackers in Newquay and with £1.50 drinks all night this is one night that is not to be missed! On the music front, the DJs spin a mix of Dance, RnB, Chart, Party & Rock and the atmosphere is great. Get in before 11pm for only £2.
There is no doubt that Mondays belong to The Barracuda. Maybe its because its the only venue thats open on a Monday, maybe its the talents of the Dj spinning a broad selection of music or maybe its the pound drinks promotions... thats right POUND DRINKS! The night kicksoff at 8pm and seems to take a while to warm up. The atmosphere is good, the music selection is very cheesy but after a while you find yourself on the dancefloor gettin down to cotton eye joe. Good if your up for a laugh, like cheap booze and dont mind a bit of S club 7!
SIN - Service Industry Night. Now running for over a year, this is payback for all you hard working locals. You've signed up to get your loyalty card now all you have to do is hand over a quid at the door to get 2-4-1 drinks all night! DJ Lee Vowles plays music from across the board northern soul next to 80s rock & 90s manchester classics. A ll great music you wont hear anywhere in town. Doors open 9pm-2am £3 entry, £1 with loyalty card.
A big locals night out in Newquay. Dj John London plays a set of Pop, Dance and Chart music dominated by RnB and Hip hop. As always there are plenty of drinks on offer and the 3 floors are full almost as soon as the doors open at 10pm. Its a great atmosphere and definatly the place to be on a Wednesday in Newquay. Get in before 11pm for cheaper door prices.
If you fancy something a little different than the normal mainstream music then Thursdays are a great night in Newquay. Red Square is Newquay's newest venue and every Thursday they play host to Dj Kai's Conflict rock night. The music policy is anything alternative, playing indie, rock, emo, punk, ska and classic rock. It kicks off at 10pm and even if your not really into the 'rock scene' you dont feel out of place here, drinks promos on all night until 2am. Great warm up venue! flyer...
The Weekend Warm Up at Newquay's most popular night spot! Definatly a favourite with the locals. With a capacity of 1250 the Sailors is huge! Thursdays mark the messy the 2-4-1 Drinks promotions and Dj Pete Jordans mix of all things funky. It really gets going here after the pubs kick out, the mood is great and the funky tunes keep you on the dancefloor wishing the barstaff would come to you! Get in before 11pm for a discounted entry. Berties are taking Friday nights by storm! The night has been slowly growing over the past month and now, with a new Dj line up and amazing drinks promos there really is nowhere in town on a friday that comes close! Its the new locals night and the music and atmosphere is great! Dj Kai plays a mix of commercial dance, chart, rock and party in the main room and Dj Bazz plays RnB & Hip Hop in Club 2.
